Excellent communication and load-in/out. As a bookish vendor, however, I have tried this and several other GCs, and had middling to bad sales results, barely making back more than table. The event is often sparsely attended, with a big rush at open that peters out by early afternoon. They also do nothing to promote the fact that they have many authors in attedence. None of the GCs I've been to have had any prominent fiction authors as featured guests or celebrities (exclusing comic artists from this group) to bring in that audience, even though they have a "literary/industry" section in the celebrity menu on their websites. Click on it, and you'll find there is rarely anyone listed in that category. Tables are also getting overly priced, IMHO. Note: I've attended GCs in St. Louis, San Jose, and Oklahoma City. I know some of them are reportedly better than others so please apply this review only directly to those events.
